Bidding Opportunities


Truckee Meadows Water Authority's most recent bids are listed below.  Bidders should check the website daily to view any addenda that may be issued throughout the bidding process. It is each bidder's responsiblity to ensure that they have received all addenda prior to submission of their bid.  

TMWA is required to comply with Nevada Revised Statutes which are incorporated into our bidding procedures. Projects that have Homeland Security risks require a Security Deposit to ensure that the plans and specifications are returned to TMWA. Ombudsman Contract

     TMWA has utilized an Ombudsman via a professional services contract for the past few years.  Our current Ombudsman has recently tendered his resignation, and we are recruiting for someone to fill this position. 

      The TMWA Ombudsman investigates and attempts to resolve customer complaints and problems, which TMWA Staff has been unable to resolve.

      The TMWA Board of Directors has authorized TMWA Staff to recruit a replacement Ombudsman utilizing the current contract and rates.  The current contract is for $200 per month plus $75 an hour for any call worked on for more than 15 minutes. The Ombudsman has typically averaged less than a dozen customer contacts a year.This link is to the Sample Contract for Ombudsman that would be utilized for this service.  This contract will be exempted from normal insurance requirements.  The Ombudsman selected will only be required to provide Worker's Compensation insurance.
