NEW BUSINESS PROCESS

WATER SYSTEM COMPLIANCE SUBMITTAL PROCESS FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENTS, SUBDIVISIONS AND CONDOMINIUMS NAC'S

TMWA must prepare information for the health authority regarding the proposed water system and availability of service to planned unit developments and subdivisions of land at the tentative and final map stages.

TENTATIVE MAP:

    1. The project owner or engineering consulting firm submits application to TMWA requesting an acknowledgement of water service as part of the approval process for a tentative map subdivision.

    2. TMWA engineering reviews the tentative map application and issues an acknowledgement of water service letter.
    FINAL MAP:
    1. The project owner or engineering consulting firm submits application to TMWA requesting a commitment for water service and water project approval as part of the approval process for the subdivision final map. Prior to health authority review and approval of the final map, TMWA prepares a submittal package containing:

    2. Wet stamped final construction drawings for all onsite (W-1) and offsite water facilities required for service to the subdivision. The owner's engineering firm prepares and stamps the subdivision water utility design.

    3. A commitment for water service and wet stamped design report with exhibits including hydraulic analyses output reports and schematic plots, storage and capacity calculations, historical usage data, service counts and any additional data deemed necessary by the health authority to determine water system compliance with all applicable regulations.

    4. The health authority has up to 30 days to review the submittal package and approve the final map.

    5. Upon approval by the health authority the subdivision water facility design drawings are approved for construction by TMWA.
