To help you better understand your monthly water bill, below is an in-depth explanation of each item you will find on it. We know there is a lot of information on your bill and we hope this detail will answer any questions you may have. Since you are a flat-rate customer with a meter installed at your property, be sure to check the comparison box on your bill (see reference to #15 below) so you can see what you would have paid at the metered rate.

|  Service Address: | | This information is used to identify the physical address for all the water charges listed on this invoice. This service address may differ from the mailing address. See description of "Mailing Address." |
| Explanation | | Page 1 - Item 2 |  Account Number: | | This is your individual account number. Providing this number when you correspond with us, or when speaking with a call center representative, will allow us to provide you faster service. |
| Explanation | | Page 1 - Item 3 |  Billing Date: | | Date on which the "New Water Charges" were applied to your account. |
| Explanation | | Page 1 - Item 4 |  Next Meter Read Date: | | The next date on which your meter is scheduled to be read. |
| Explanation | | Page 1 - Item 5 |  Previous Statement Balance: | | The balance indicated as the "Total Now Due" amount on the last bill. |

| Explanation | | Page 1 - Item 13 |  Regional Water Management Fee: | | This fee is imposed by Washoe County on behalf of the Western Regional Water Commission to be expended solely for purposes of water planning. The fee is currently 1.5% of your total bill. TMWA has no control or discretion over this fee — it is a charge collected by TMWA and passed on to the local government. |
| Explanation | | Page 1 - Item 14 |  Right of Way Toll: | | Fee charged to utilities and telecommunication companies for the right to use property owned by the government, for example, streets. For Reno residents, the standard fee is 3%. For Sparks residents, the standard fee is 5%. If you are a Washoe County resident outside of the cities of Reno and Sparks, you will not have this fee. TMWA has no control or discretion over this fee — it is a charge collected by TMWA and passed on to the local government. |
